Start With Your Why

“Start with Your Why” is a phrase that encourages individuals to begin any task or project by considering their purpose or motivation for doing it. This phrase is often associated with the concept of “starting with why,” which was popularized by business leader and author Simon Sinek.

According to Sinek, the most inspiring leaders and organizations start by explaining the why behind what they do before they discuss what they do or how they do it. This approach is based on the idea that people are more likely to be motivated by the purpose or belief that drives an action rather than the action itself. By starting with the why, leaders can tap into their audience’s emotions and values, which helps to build trust and create a deeper connection with their audience.

The concept of “starting with your why” can be applied to personal development and leadership, as a way to better understand and communicate one’s own purpose and values. It can also be applied to any task or project, as a way to identify the motivations and underlying purpose that drive it. By starting with your why, you can more clearly understand your goals and objectives, and be more motivated and focused in achieving them.
